Bait, a blind human, is abused by the Berserker Tribe, but is secretly loved by the Berserker Alpha, Ranon. She is put at the feet of the Berserker enemy, Mother Eden Tribe, by Ranon's jealous healer, Sid. Bait becomes the mate to the Mother Eden Tribe Alpha, Rexander and is renamed Maeve. Maeve blooms until Rex is caught in an accident. She tries to rescue him, only to come face-to-face with Alpha Ranon again. Maeve must now choose which man she loves, but who is keeping secrets from her?
