Roger weighed in the words of Victoria . She wanted a honeymoon and a vacation not to just marry and be married. He also had to think of living arrangements since he clearly couldn't have her living up in his loft . He thought long and hard as he remembered the toosley house was up for sale on cheap too. All he had to do was pay the property taxes on the house to pay for the house. This would bring the toosley territory back into the fold. It was a hard hit from his income with them going bankrupt.
Roger filed for a motion to purchase the toosley property and make him an Evenburg empire completely erasing toosley off the big name roster. He could offer it to Victoria after the honeymoon since he liked Ryder but he could be rather dense and annoying with his bachelor lifestyle. He honestly found Ryder annoying in his care fee life style like he didn't fear consequences. In a sense his youth was annoying because Ryder was a younger version of Roger doing stupid things and thinking it all work itself out.
Now Regina was on her way out of the Zehetii territory. Roger should be happy he was finally was going to be rid of her but he knew better . Roger knew she had to go somewhere and she would try to move in on Ryder and that be too many people in a house all bunched up looking at each other. Roger secured the sale of his loft that was worth a few million dollars and used it to purchase the foreclosed toosley estate. Perhaps he was sticking it to Regina buying her childhood home. He could go as far try to buy the Zehetii home but the logistics of the lawyer and the claims it be a tough legal battle to be won. Time and money he didn't have right now.
His firm was steady but as the Dayo law firm opened up in the same city competition was high and Christopher's law firm was small but on a steady increase with his group of lawyers that followed him out of the Evenburg and associates law firm. Roger had wanted to keep Christopher Dayo under his thumb since he made the most revenue for his firm with his wins and reputation of being brilliant.
Regina screwed that up with one baby and a very angry housewife . Roger lost his main bank on cases and money coming in. Christopher inspired loyalty as he saw the truth in that when he saw the top lawyers follow him out. Christopher didn't conspire with the other lawyers they chose to leave with Christopher after his sudden resignation.
Roger had to think about keeping his firm on the increase since Christopher Dayo was now his competition. He hated that he lost Christopher because of Regina . When he thought of Regina bile filled his mouth and hate his heart. He really hated her so much as she was pushy, caniving,and self motivated. She might have had her eyes on Roger the entire time but he sure didn't have it on her.
Victoria made all her necessary changes to her identification and her social security number as well as her car and personal bills in her name. A month later after all her proofs came in her and Roger were passing security clearance in an airport with their passports in hand finally going on their promised honey moon.
Victoria and Roger had been keeping their secret marriage under wraps . Pretending like life was as normal as possible. Her and Roger hadn't slept together yet so what was another month to wait. victoria had planned a honey moon tour for a month. First Paris France to see the sites and eat in the finest restaurant with a small rented cottage cozy for two ,then on to Lucerne Switzerland, then next Capri Italy ,and finally Laucala island in Fiji .
It was a small fee to pay for the cliche honeymoon Victoria requested. Victoria and Roger was absolutely a pair made for each other as Rogers appetite was vigorous and wanting. Her times as a professional escort paid off with Roger as the spent days touring the sites in these magnificent places and night tangled up in each other like teenage lovers never getting enough of each other. Roger layed shackled up to the rented villa on the private island in fiji. He kept looking at the door as he knew the maid and clean up crew would come in any moment. He wasn't ashamed of his body and he was well endowed but it was embarrassing how Victoria left him. Granted he did poke fun at her and made her do things she was uncomfortable with he thought her wating all that time to pay him back was brilliantly calculated.

The cleaning crew came in and walked in as Roger prepared himself to swoon and be found in a bare state. He knew they spoke English because of tourist but he always hated people talking around him if he wasn't sure what they said exactly.

Roger glared at the woman speaking in their native language and pulled on the handcuffs to show his distress." Keys in top draw in side table. Do me a favor and release me." Smiled Roger as the young girl looked away from the man cuffed to the bed. The two women snickered at the man in distress as they kept speaking their native language as Roger grew uncomfortable in their words he did understand.

The young girl was in a pleathera of words as the old man's eyebrows knitted in confusion until he came into the room and saw what she was talking about.
" Oh no no no. Naked man on bed . " He exclaimed as he fussed at the two woman as the snuck Snickers at the man on the bed. The man pointed to the door as he moved the woman out of the room. Roger felt some relief.he made the two woman leave as the made him uncomfortable in his state he was in.
" Key! over there in the top draw ." Roger demanded. As he didn't have patience for anymore of the snickering and being the butt of their jokes.The old man sighed and opened the draw as he retrieved the small silver key and opened the cuffs. " Who did this to you?" Inquired the old man. Now curious how he ended up in this position.
" My wife?" Roger replied as the man busted out laughing as he remembered himself and the woman stood behind the wall waiting for the nude stranger to dress. The man left the room shaking his head as he reached the hallway laughter burst out as Roger knew he told the two woman about his wife chaining him up and leaving him like that. Roger dressed quickly in the clothes he took off and grabbed his bags and passport to get on the boat to go to land and catch a flight home .
Victoria landed and she smiled as her mission was accomplished. Roger will think twice in crossing me again she thought as the best revenge was the one least expected. Victoria took a taxi to Rogers office as she was going to retrieve the keys and lock his office keys in his office so he would be forced to ask another lawyer to open it for him. She wasn't done messing with him.
When Victoria arrived Regina and Alexander stood there waiting in front of the office. She stopped abruptly knowing what she did and why she was there. Regina would flip out if she knew she married Roger ,slept with him,and they just purchased her parents old estate as a wedding abode.
There was no avoiding Regina when she had her mind set on things. Damn it she needed in the office .she had to think how to get rid of regina and get the keys. Why of all days did she have to be here stalking Roger as usual when she wanted her way. It was exhausted how persistent she was and her dedication to a man who wanted nothing to do with her at all .
" Where is Roger I've come by for the past two weeks and his secretary told me he was out of town. Probably with one of his women ." Complained Regina .
Two weeks that was a bit obsessive thoughts Victoria as she thought surely Regina has better things to do than stalk Roger's place of work since she was already told he was not there multiple times.
" Well if that is what Lacy said I suppose she would know where he is better than anyone else." Remarked Victoria trying to make her go away so she can get to the office.
" Since when were you and his secretary on first name basis?" Demanded Regina .
Victoria nodded and smiled as she knew that that was odd to be on personal names with an employee of Rogers." Roger sends me up here all the time to get his coffee and notes ready before a big briefing . I run into Lacy from time to time." Lied Victoria as she wished Regina will go away.
" So you've been to his legendary loft that no one is allowed in? It's hard to believe you and him aren't screwing since you know that much about him." Said Regina with a look of discontent on her face marked with jealousy from the new information.
" You mean he has never invited you there? " Retorted Victoria trying to point out Regina position. In a somewhat mocking way as Regina caught the rift of her humorous insult.
" No. " She said clearly upset her mother's privileges with Roger. Regina rolled her eyes as she hated Victoria having Rogers time and ear. If she didn't know any better she could have sworn her and Roger really liked each other the way they acted around each other .
" Look Regina it's not my place to invite you or tell you where he lives." Victoria pointed out as she was getting aggravated Regina would not leave .
" I see. When will Roger come in I need to speak with him immediately. He ran out on the middle of our conversation and I haven't heard from him since. I've come up here trying to catch him and that stupid secretary won't tell me anything." Cried Regina.
" Last I heard Roger was tied up at the moment and I'm not sure when he will be released from his present situation." Said Victoria as she tried to keep a straight face from the subliminal jab she made about Roger.
" Well how long will he be occupied. I need to talk to him about my situation." Fussed Regina. She was very impatient and didn't like being turned away little less not knowing where Roger was.
" Possibly a day or two depending on if he finds a solution to let him out of his previous engagement." Smirked Victoria as she grinned on the inside how clever she was letting Regina know just enough but not enough to know what was going on.
" Fine. Tell him to call me when he gets available. Wait why are you here if he isn't in the office ?" Quizzed Regina as she became suspicious of Victoria lingering around the office.
" Dropping off something to Lacy . Me and her had a brunch we were suppose to meet up at but she never showed up. " She said now annoyed Regina was prying in her business as she just wanted to pop in and get the keys and go to the estate and start to work on it.
Camilla Toosley had terrible fashion in decor and she hoped all her tacky trash was not in the mansion as a constant reminder of her former employers wife's style haunting her for the rest of her life. Her and Camilla ran into each other from time to time and she seemed less raised on money than Brian. She had a thing about frogs and mushrooms and it was a constant in her decor .
To Victoria it was plainly childish and tacky and she was planning on tossing it on the street if it still was in the estate. Regina was preventing her from doing as she planned and exacting her revenge on Roger. He was going to be pissed when he came back but she would deal with the consequences later . Right now Regina was annoying her with her reluctance to just leave the office .
" I'm so glad you and her are on good terms I don't like how she looks at Roger sometimes. You knoW he is probably screwing her too. If it has a front and a back side he bends it over." Complained Regina rolling her eyes .
" You know you give Roger too much credit for his jigalo ways." Sassed Victoria.
" A jigalo gets paid Roger does it just because he can. It is rather annoying him parading these hussies around knowing I am right here willing and forever waiting for him to realize I have his son ." Sighed Regina .
" Regina , look how long are you going to chase after Roger before you realize he isn't interested. He has tried to tell you over and over and have a child with him doesn't change the situation. Your setting yourself up for a let down on your end. There are so many men that can occupy your time but you waste it on Roger." Said Victoria overwhelmed by her Roger speech that was constantly redundant.
" I tried to get Christopher but he won't leave his wife . " She whined .
" Did you expect him to leave her when you got pregnant? Married men don't ever leave their wives. They have already invested in them to marry them. It is cheaper to keep them them get rid of them and start all over again. When a man marries he has no intention of leaving especially if they have kids. They will have an affair but go back home to their wife." Explained Victoria annoyed how naive Regina was sounding right now.
" I told him he could keep them but I thought he at least . I don't know ." She said impatiently.
" Well men are literal . If you tell them he can keep his wife and life they tend to not read between the lines. Don't say something and mean another. They won't catch on they aren't built for games they have to have it spelt out. Only a rare few can see the hidden meanings without instructions." Said Victoria wanting Regina to leave as she was delaying her longer than necessary right now and it was getting on her nerves.
" Look I have to pop in go see Lucy and grab a few things then go. I'll talk to you later and I'll leave Roger a memo to contact you when he gets back in town. Go home and wait it out. " Said Victoria moving her to the elevator. Regina didn't like to be hurried up and moved along. She glared at Victoria.
" Why are you in a hurry to get rid of me?" Remarked Regina . As she shoved at Victoria trying to stand her ground and be stubborn.
" Regina just go . No one has time to entertain you all day. You are exhaustingly persistent. I have things to do and you can't loiter around Rogers office to ambush him to talk to you." Victoria said as she pressed the call button and ushered her in as she waved goodbye to Regina as she sighed in relief when she finally left . She looked at the top of the number dial to make sure she wasn't coming back up and it made it to the ground floor before she broke free to open Rogers office as she grabbed the toosley keys from the top desk draw and tossing the keys inside the draw and left the office locking it as she smirked at her deeds.
Victoria took a taxi to the Toosley estates. She pulled up at it as she stared at the place where she came in at age fifteen . She had only been living on the streets a year after her father put her out when she was fourteen because he didn't want a snooty teenage daughter who didn't listen. He accused her of being a tramp after her mother left him for another man and left her there at age twelve. Because she looked like her mother he was convinced she was the same.
One night as she was sneaking back in the house kicked her out not wanting to deal with her anymore leaving all hours of the night . Victoria stared at her old home . Brian Toosley never mistreated her but when he realized she was seventeen and not twenty-one as he made specific with his preference to the escort service he saw the legal repercussions of a pregnant teenage escort.

Then he had a better idea to send Victoria to the Bruno House as a refered nanny to get on the inside with Antonio and Rana . Since he had already owned the zehettis some money from a bad gambling loss and he knew they would expect payment soon. He figured he get good with the Brunos and use their generosity to pay back the Zehetii's. It was a win win in Brian Toosley's book. Both were well off and we'll loved and he needed something to hold over Antonio to get on the inside of the families fortune. When Rana died from a mysterious illness he cut off connection to Victoria afraid she would implicate him in his plans for why she was placed there.
Brian was always looking for an easy money fix and he thought making Victoria his mistress it would give him an upper hand . But when it backfired he left her there to find for herself.
Victoria shivered at the room she shared memories with the father of her daughter. The voices echoed in her head like past ghost and the Erie reminder of a past once lived but not forgotten.
Victoria closed her eyes as she took a deep breath as she closed her eyes in memories . She closed the door like closing a chapter on her past. She walked around the mansion as she explored the room she was never allowed into and went to the gardens and took notes on the subtle differences of her past memories of the place and the current memories. She was glad they got rid of Camilla's tacky decor so that was one less thing to worry about .
Now she was married to Roger and he bought a home for her . The irony of him buying this particular home was not lost on her. Roger wanted to remind her of her roots and her past. Leave it to Roger to be a prick about things. He bought it to rub it in Regina's face that's what it boils down too.
Victoria dreaded when Regina figured out not only did she marry the man she was constantly pineing for but also bought her childhood home for his new wife which happened to be her mother . It was subliminally a full jerk move.
