Aftermath of Regina

Regina and Roger was sitting at the law firm waiting for Ryder to come in. They called a meeting as both of there phones notified. Regina glared at the message from Christopher as it came across the top of he notifications bar. She clicked on it thinking she read the text wrong. She feverishly tried to reply and the message was pending and failed to deliver. What the hell was going on she thought.

" What the hell." Jumped up Roger as he tried calling Christopher from his brazen resignation he just received via text message. This is not a good idea to quit a case mid trial. The phone sounded a disconnect tone as he ended the call in anger.

Regina glared at her text message as she looked at the words on her screen. It came from Christopher but she knew it was his wife. Regina thought what a complete moron. Why did he tell her? She was carrying his child . How can he do this to her. She didn't anticipate the wife being nothing more than a scared mouse. Now the words spoke volumes. His wife knew about her and her husband's baby.

Ryder came in last minute as he was holding the elevator door for a black hair blue eyed woman coming into the office. He smiled and used his charms as he touched the small of Avery's back as he tried to pick her up as he was very interested in the beautiful exotic looking woman accompaning him on the elevator ride up .

" My name is Ryder Bruno. It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He said softly kissing her on the hand as he calculated how fast he could have her in his bed. Avery smiled as she thought his act was cute but the young man tried to hard for her attention.

" Avery jing. I really must make my appointment." She said stepping away from him.

" How will be able to contact you? Please a number or an email . I need to be able to see this angel I just saw before me. You my lady are a goddess of love." He professed his fake admiration holding his heart dramatically.

Avery blushed and quickly went to Mr . Savior office. She took one last look at Ryder as she saw Roger standing behind him his arms folded . Her face straightened as she turned her head and walked inside Mr. Saviors office.

" Ah miss Jing , how may I help you? " Said Mr. Savior.

" Cancel the distribution of the serving papers. I don't want to have an officer serve the papers. I've changed my mind. I want to serve my brother his papers myself." She said sternly without resolve .

" I see. Is there a reason for this change?" Questioned Mr. Savior now confused.

" Axel and I got in a huge fight with me over it. I want to serve him the papers." Avery said in hiding the fact her mother was back in the picture . Avery knew that also would be a complication to her already existing problems.

" Maybe you should make this choice with a clearer head. Let's not make any rash decisions." Pleaded Mr. Savior seeing his clients current mood.

" Look I need to resolve Axel . He will fight me for the house. He won't let it go as easily as I thought. " She said defensively.

" I see. That might be a problem ." He said as he weighed his options to give her what she wanted .

" I sure hope your right. I did tell you my services are not guaranteed results. I hope you know what your doing , Miss Jing?" He said opening his draw and handing her the serving papers . Avery glared at the papers in her hand with a small smile on her face knowing what she held in her hands.

Meanwhile Roger glared at Ryder after pulling him in the office and closing the door. Ryder smirked cocky and smiled at his efforts.

Regina was lost at what was going on as the test message she received pissed her off.

" Did you see that angel out there?" Said Ryder as he took a seat propping his feet on the conference table. Roger smacked his feet off at the blaten disrespect Ryder showed.

" You know that is the mother of my son. That woman is no angel. She is a devil in disguise." Said Roger as Regina just caught what he said.

" Whoa man I didn't mean to hit on your baby mama ." Ryder held up his hand in surrender.

" What the hell Roger . Do you just like supplying the entire world with l all your unwanted children. For someone who hates kids you sure don't try to prevent it from having them." Fussed Regina now curious about the woman they jested about.

" I prevent things as well as you do Regina. I'm not the one with another baby in me from another man. When you have a baby just over a year old. You seem to be the poster child for not taking precautions in preventing pregnancy." He snarked at her as she sucked in her chair now.

" What is her name? At least give me the name of the woman before me." Demanded Regina now folding her arms.

" My darling Regina. There was many more woman before you came and trapt me in your snake pit. There were many others after you. So do you want all of their names as well. If you do we might be here a while." Said Roger to knock Regina down a notch .

Regina sneered in this revelation. Ryder looked between the two as they bickered . " So the baby mama is off limits I take it? " Interjecting Ryder.

" Touch her and find out. " Replied Roger.

" It's not fair. Your sleeping with Victoria but can't let Ryder take a bite of your left overs . It's rather selfish to hold onto something that isn't yours anymore." Sassed Regina.

" Who said she wasn't mine anymore. I could have her if I want her . When ever I want her. " He said purposely rubbing in the sore he opened.

" Perhaps you should take your own words as advice. According to you no one is off limits. I sleep with whom I want . I claim whom I want. And I take people off limits when I want. You are not my wife nor my mistress so your opinion does not matter." Declared Roger and Regina broke out in tears .

Roger sighed as he wasn't doing this with Regina today. Regina weeped and heaved and wailed in response.

" Dry it up. We all know you don't actually have a heart. I honestly don't think you can feel anything from you head down to your toes. It's all about strategic planning and mind games with you.If you did you wouldn't have made a married man sleep with you. Did you honestly think he chose his wife over you? Now I'm out of a damn good lawyer because of you and your antics . So shut up just shut up." He raised his voice not aggervated with Regina.

" Wait . Christopher quit the firm?what about James murder case?" Screeched Regina.

" He will have to be reassigned a new lawyer and you are off the case. We can't have you sleeping with yet another one of my firms lawyers. The rate your going your going to supply all my lawyers with a child. You are a walking path of destruction." He snapped at Regina .

" So this is all my fault now." She said offended.

" Yes. You and That thing between your legs. Put the snapping turtle up let that thing rest between victims." Barked Roger now upset at her part on Christopher quitting.

He held over Christopher he needed this job to support his family so that Christopher wouldn't become his competition in the legal field . Christopher was one of the best lawyers he came across. When he saw the threat of his competition he offered him a partner to prevent Christopher being on the opposing side of the court room. The man was brilliant in winning cases.

Christopher's loyalty was the security he had to take his law firm as the best in the city. Now Christopher resigned he was once again a possible threat to his firm.

Avery walked to the elevator as Roger waved for her to hold up. Avery pressed the call button frantically trying to get in the elevator before Roger caught up with her. She stepped in and breathed easy thinking she escaped him.

She looked up at the number daily as she was waiting for the elevator to move. just then a hand shot out and the door sensor opened back up to reveal Roger as he stepped inside beside her as the doors closed with them two riding down together.
