The Breakup

Usagi was facing the wall before she could face Mamoru who leaned against the wall looking reckless and annoyed. She was confused and worried about what was wrong. She wondered if she did something wrong to upset him.

"I'm dense, so I didn't realize you were in a bad mood," Usagi said, forcing herself to smile.

Mamoru didn't even look at her. He was just ignoring her. "It's not like that."

She blinked in confusion. "What?"

"I just don't love you anymore," Mamoru answered.

It was then Usagi felt her heart being stabbed. She refused to believe Mamoru was breaking up with her. And for what, exactly? What was the reason he was breaking up with her?

Her tears began to roll down her face as she tried to convince him to break up. "Mamo, I'll make sure to study hard, too. So I can-"

Mamoru cut her off, "Don't make me say it over and over again! I just want to end our relationship."

"Mamo... there is no way I can believe that. Because you were Prince Endymion and I was Princess Serenity. We were in love before we were born in this world."

Then Mamoru slammed the wall and shouted, "That's why I want to end it! Why do I have to be your boyfriend just because I was in a previous life!? I..."

Then he saw Usagi's tears rolling down her face as she started to cry. He knew he made a mistake. He noticed she was staring at the small shoes that belonged to Chibiusa.

As she noticed, she gritted her teeth in anger as she realized he was breaking up with her for Chibiusa. Though she is a child, that would be very weird for them to have a relationship. She was jealous of Chibiusa being around Mamoru. She admitted she hated her being with Mamoru. Well, just because she's just a little girl, doesn't mean she falls in love with Mamoru. Don't get me wrong here.

"I see now... Maybe it's because you fall in love with Chibiusa, aren't you?" Usagi said in anger.

His eyes widened. "Usagi, are you out of your mind!? Just because I'm breaking up with you doesn't mean I did it for her. It never happened between me and Chibiusa. She's still a kid, Usagi. I only care for her to make sure she is safe. That would be really weird for us to have a relationship like that."

Suddenly, Usagi noticed Chibiusa was watching them fighting as she was hiding behind the wall, worried. She gritted her teeth sharply as she glared at Chiniusa. "Well, if you did it for her, then that little brat is the reason we broke up!" She shouted, pointing at Chibiusa.

Chibiusa blinked in confusion. She now got scared of Usagi's rage.

"Stop it, Usagi. You're scaring her. She hasn't done anything to drift us apart. It would be better if you just leave." Mamoru said. He was protecting Chibiusa from her, which shattered Usagi's heart more.

Usagi let out a tantrum while stomping her feet. "Fine! If you want to be with Chibiusa and be a jerk that way, then I wish I never fell in love with you in the first place where I met you in the Silver Millennium!"

The Inner Senshi, Mamoru and Chibiusa were shocked to hear her saying that.

Mamoru never believed his Usako would say such horrible things. Clutching at his heart, He knew he lost his beloved Usako forever.

With that, Usagi stormed off heading outside to leave Mamoru and Chibiusa alone.

Now she was outside crying. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. She never believed her beloved Mamoru dumped her.

Suddenly, Usagi didn't notice she was being stalked by an old man from the dark shadows he was hiding. With an evil smirk on his face, he has a brilliant plan for her.
