“What if a burglar broke in and a wild animal ate him?” Harry makes it to the bottom of the steps and looks under the steps, where he finds a giant troll. The creature snarls as it reaches out and grabs Harry. He dangles Harry in the air and then drops him into its mouth. The troll chews the meat and swallows. He lets out a burp and then a yawn. His eyelids start to droop, and he drifts off into a dreamless sleep. Next, the bedroom door swings open and a burglar emerges, carrying a sack full of Harry’s belongings. He grabs the mask and places it over his face; then he heads out the front door. Waiting for him is a man dressed in a sleeping cap and blue pajamas. He holds a bag full of sand.
“Who are you?” the burglar asked. The man grabs a handful of sand and blows it in the burglar’s face.
“The Sandman,” he whispers. The burglar shakes his head and falls asleep standing on his feet. Next, he walks through the living room. He trips over the carpet and bumps into a couple of walls. The Sandman walks behind him, gently guiding him through the house. The Sandman opens the basement door and leads the burglar down the stairs. Finally, he leads him right into the waiting mouth of the troll. Then the Sandman blows the sand into the face of the troll. The troll falls asleep, and the Sandman winks before vanishing.
