Chapter 7 the Choices of being a knight

On the third day of the week of training Kujo is silently training by himself outside Griffin waits for Suzie to get there as he waits

he thinks of his challenge tomorrow there should be a some clue as to what this challenge is maybe we actually fight someone he sees Suzie walking with Cane and Kaizen and Says oh you brought everyone ok

Kaizen says what did you think you and Suzie were doing this alone Hybrid your very unintelligent he would crush you easily Cane says i have to agree don't go thinking you can do everything on your own when you have a team with you man not cool

Griffin rubs his white hair and says what are you talking about Suzie says oh my bad i forgot i told you to be here and never told you why

ok ready we are going to challenge Kujo all of us vs him now i know this sounds crazy but i feel like we need some type of team lesson im sure Kujo wouldn't mind and we can get some team training for the mission too

Griffin says ok i like it Kaizen walks in front of all of them and says if your just going to just stand there hybrid then get out of the way as pushes Griffin out of the way and goes threw the door

Kujo looking surprised to see the junior knights he says hey can i help you we dont get back to training until tomorrow Kaizen says will you fight us?

Kujo looks in confusion he says no i will not sorry Suzie says Kujo look we just want some type of team lesson Cane says or game Suzie says we just want something to do thats going to get us ready for the mission

Kujo get on one knee and says there's no need to rush the process i have a steady eye on yall improvement you all are fine besides today is you guys rest day

Griffin says but we are ready for something Kujo says ok look you want to improve on something learn patients its a key part to being a good knight

Suzie says come on we can't have a friendly spar Kujo says I will not it is pointless Cane says why because we aren't strong enough Kaizen thinks so I wasn't the only one who thought of that

Griffin says well I guess I'm going back to my room to train as he starts walking away Kujo says sorry there's nothing I can do I don't want to hurt any of you and y'all have an up incoming mission i wouldn't want you guys to get hurt

Griffin yells JUST TELL US WE ARE WEAK and storms off Suzie tries to go after but Kaizen says let him go hes just another War hungry hybrid scum

he going to get us killed Cane walk up to Kaizen and says a man stop calling him that it's not his name and goes after Griffin with Suzie

Kujo turns around and smiles and thinks I threw wood in the fire now burn and find you an opponent to help your strength grow unfortunately you can't fight me not yet you still need to get a little strong all of you

i am your mentor and superior Knight but i can't hold your hand in this there are things that you still need to learn by yourself before we can have our training battle

Kaizen says hey Kujo before i go help the others not get killed by our tamed hybrid i want to know something

Kujo turns around displeased and irritated and says you need a reality check Kaizen i'm tired of that word his Qora bursting out of him he slowly starts walking towards Kaizen but even though Kaizen is scared he stand there

Kujo stands infront of Kaizen and says i dont want to hear that word or anything else that has to do with this racist rant on hybrids and more importantly Griffin he is your comrad not your enemy

Kaizen says with tears of fear running down his face but determination in his eyes he says you can yell at me all you want but it won't matter That's what he is

but out of respect for my superior knight I won't say it around you Kujo calms down and says okay you have a lot to learn about your teammate

now what did you want Kaizen wipes his face and smirks and says so is there anyone else learning the JudoMode technique he replies with no I'm the last full user

Kaizen says are you willing to teach it Kujo says it's a very dangerous technique and I don't want to get you hurt I Am a perfect example on how not to use the technique that is why i cannot teach it to no one else

because Master judo is gone his teachings died with him Kaizen says no not true you are a master at judo mode Kujo says I am not a master never have been I got lucky and then I screwed it up I will not put that burden in on anyone else

Kaizen says You're one of the strongest knights in Glenharnia Kujo interrupts and says and can't see That's right you don't know made me blind the enchanted blindfold I wear is to protect everyone else

when I got taught JudoMode I did it so well I turned it on and couldn't turn it off

let me give you a quick summary of what judo mode is Qora is soul energy you tap into your soul you get your soul weapon aka your spirit weapon which is a fancy name for it

because you don't know is actually spirit energy yes so Judomode taps into your spirit your will your determination and I have determination to fight

so when I unlocked the secrets to JudoMode I couldn't find a way to turn it off burnt my eyes out but I can see you I can see everything in this room it's just I don't see your face exactly or what you're wearing I see your Qora and that traces over your body yeah there you go I don't want to put that on you ever

none of the junior Knights so I will be the last wielder of judo mode and it will die out with me you have to find your own technique Kaizen sorry

he says don't worry I'll find out how to do it on my own and just like Griffin he Storms off walking

Kujo sighs and says what am I going to do with these Junior Knights

Griffin is walking in down the side hallways to the house of knights where knights rest and eat

as he walk he thinks this place got to have someone who wants to spar with me as he is walking he hears Colton in a room preaching to a group of knights he yells this man this Sean .M Davidson has rallied up some of the local hybrids downtown Glenharnia

he uses his words to inspire Hybrids like his right hand man and bodyguard the Sakyo no heishi it means strongest soldier are we wrong to assume he already has a army of these guys

his motives are unknown but anyone who decides to rally up Hybrids has nothing good planned mutter in disappointment

the hybrids will try to build some cue on the king and then what they will torture us the knights say all yell in anger

Colton says so we are going to stand here and let them take our kingdom i think it is time to shut them down Griffin walks up to the door he listens closely

Colton says we wont stand blind for ever we will shut this down before it even begins they are downtown right now screaming disturbing the peace of our great kingdom we will not stand for this for Glenharnia the crowd of knights yells FOR GLENHARNIA

They start making there towards the door Griffin runs before he gets caught he run straight out the door of the training hall

he runs and runs until an arrow fly right in front of him Kaizen yells where do you think your going but when Griffin sees that it's him in the tree

He gives him that exact same stare and then takes off running Kaizen feeling disrespected jumps off and says soon in the tournament we will see hybrid

He walks back to the training hall Griffin sprints down the pathway making his way downtown to warn Sean .M Davidson

he thinks that guy has a squad of knights heading his way and he doesn't even know i have to warn him maybe i can ask him some questions and i want to meet this Sakyo no heishi maybe he can spar with me

He hears the growl of a lion Griffin stops and says what was that i don't see anything I hear it but it was in my head what was that

as the sound of a lion's roar echoes loudly ringing in in Griffins head he grabs his head and screams and pain as the roar turned into a voice that says stop being childish

Griffin said its you what your name but he heard nothing he thinks was that my spirit animal why would he just say that

what did he mean by childish wait i don't have time for this and he gets back to running

back at the training hall Cane is at the sparing room where the knights got to train in basic combat. with him is Suzie and Kaizen

hey Suzie have you seen Griffin im sure he would want to spar with us she says nope i tried to catch up with him but he vanished

Cane says oh okay well have you seen him Kaizen he says no and looks away Suzie walks up to kaizens face not pleased and says you sure?

She stays there looking him in his eyes visibly angry he says your lucky a womans eyes are precious but your eyes are so beautiful so full of fire and strength

But Suzie just keep looking at him waiting for an answer he says look i saw him outside the train hall he looked like he was in a hurry

i just asked where he was going ok she says that all you said he says yes that it Cane walks up and says ok look maybe he had some family issues or something

Kaizen says why do we even have to talk about that hybrid Suzie says what's your deal why do you call him that

Cane say yeah why do you hate Griffin so much Kaizen says because hybrids are just murderous monsters who just want to battle

did you know most become killers criminals they go to there military get training then when they get enough power abandon their kingdom build a gang and terrorise innocent people and children

i have seen it has happened to me you become different after you have seen what i have seen Cane says dang bro thats dark Suzie says but that not every hybrid not Griffin he is kind

Kaizen says it is a disguise that's what he wants you to think your blind but its okay because when we complete our mission and get to the tournament i will finish what i started and end his journey before it even gets started then i will finish what i have started

Cane says what do you mean you started Suzie says so you haven't figured out that they fought on top of that mountain

Kaizen looks at Suzie and says hey don't say that out loud you know that in fighting with sin the night is illegal unless authorized by a superior night and besides we are in a room full of knights we can get in trouble or worse that hybrid come back and finds out where we are

Suzie says ok im done Cane says where you going she says away Kaizen says wait im sorry she stops and turns around and says are you really?

Cane says wow Kaizen i didnt know you had a heart as he begins to chuckle he looks back and frowns Suzie walks back and says lets get this sparring match over with

then a voice from across the room says well yall are some chatterboxes in the sparring room the three junior knights turn around trying to figure out who said that

as three other junior knights walk up to them yo the name is Conner i'm the leader of junior knight squad number 3 but i'm sure you have heard of me

yeah cause your a big deal as a short girl Straight black hair makeup and dress walks up behind him when she looks at Suzie her eyes light up like she seen a ghost then a creepy smile emerges as she looks at her

with a ominous tall guy standing on the other side of him looking away he shrugs his shoulders

he says ok that's cool you don't need to know me what your names and squad number again they look at each other

Conner sighs and says who is your superior knight they all say Kujo his eyes widen oh squad number 4 i thought we was going to run into you guys

but i heard there was Four of you guys did someone already quit as Conner and the the girl behind him starts laughing

Kaizen says what do you want we don't have time for your childish remarks we are getting ready for a mission now having the rooms attention

Conner says your lying we don't get assigned missions yet Cane walks up and says no YOU can't get missions yet you forgot a word

Conner says well you are so strong prove it Suzie says so what a sparring match is what you want and smiles.Kaizens says well what are you opposing.

Conner says we can can have a one on one sparring match non weapons just no Qora just hand to hand combat

Kaizen says oh ok Suzie this is for you She walks up and cracks her knuckles eger to get started

Conner says i really don't want to hurt such a pretty face why don't we but before he could finish she roundhouse kicks him

Conner dodges but is caught off guard really it's like that he yells but she says you talk to much and throws a punch

Conner leans back and drops down to sweep her leg but she jumps and tries to kick him in the head but is too far away

Conner says you missed but she closes the gap between them by dashing towards his direction and grabs him Conner is surprised and caught off guard as she jumps onto him and using her knee she flips Conner onto his back and flips on top and punches just barely stopping at his face

she says i win and leans up he says we look good like this as she gets mad and gets ready to throw a actual punch Kaizen grabs her arm she gets up and pulls her arm back

and yells what the hell are you doing but he doesn't says a word and points to see the man and Cane clashing with there Spirit weapons she says what happens Kaizen syas it was so quick the only person who was fast enough to stop him was Cane when you had went for that punch he had summoned his weapon and it looked like he was going to kill you

Cane saved you as Cane says don't attack my teammate while clashing with the man he Quietly but ominously says you do the same and pushes him back then backs up

Cane stands guard ready to continue before Suzie puts her hand on his shoulder and says it ok we are done here but as they walk away

Conner says hey as he is getting help up by the girl Suzie looks back looking annoyed he says thank you Shaiya and even more thak you Hunter but i had it

then he looks at Suzie and yells are you going to be at the tournament of legacy she smiles and says oh yeah i forgot about that yep im in how about you

he says yeah i will be there alright and smirks he says good i get a rematch from you cheating just now

we will see whos the better fighter as they both go there separate ways Kaizen says i need to do that Qora exercise Suzie looks in confusion then Cane says yeah your right that Hunter guy Could overpower us with jus his Qora alone

Suzie says what do you mean they look at her and say he had three times the amount of Qora i had i barley could keep my axe from shaking

Kazen says i couldn't move his Qora so potent and strong it was almost like then the both of them says Kujo

Suzie says you guys calculate how much Qora he has than yourselves they look at each other than at her and says yeah at the same time she says wow well i'm going to use the bathroom

Kaizen says yeah i got some investigating i need to do Cane says i'm hungry and they all walk in separate directions

meanwhile Griffin is at the local gathering that colton plans to shut down he looks for someone speaking but all he see is a crowd so he pushes his way through

but as he gets closer he hears words from a man he says we have suffered enough my brothers and sisters we share one thing and it's that the world doesn't want us to win you see it everyday hybrid can’t go here your not welcome there

you know what i say there right why should we be here when we can have a kingdom of our own instead of dealing with this hell on earth we can look at true peace and freedom of our own

Our trades the crowd yells YEAH our own shops YEAH our own families YEAH and our own knights

who want to actually protect us the crowd starts to scream YEAH but finally Griffin makes it to the front of the crowd he screams but no one hears him he thinks there's only one way he'll see me if I get on the stage

then without another second to lose he jumped onto the stage and yells hey Sean .M Davidson but before he could finish a small but thick military knife is pressed against the skin on his neck pressure slowly being added

Griffin says wait i'm a hybrid too as the figure with the military knife walks around him slowly still holding the knife to his neck they begin inspecting him and patting him down

They throw a thumbs up to Sean now that Griffin can get a look at the person with the knife he says i'm guessing you're the Sakyo no heishi the masked figure stands there then put the knife away and steps behind Sean

he says i kindly apologize for my friend here they only care for my safety i assure you they didn't mean harm unless you did

now come boy what is it you want Griffin says look i'm here to warn you about a group of knights on there way to shut this down you need to get out of here

Sean laughs and says do you hear that my brothers and sisters as his voice get louder he says the knights who are here to protect us are trying to shut me up

they want to erase the past and act like everything is ok when they have corrupted high ranking officials and officers or what they want you to call knights but there tyrants who use our laber our freedom and our life and money to supply this needless war

that is why i am stepping up and telling you that you dont have to put up with it we can go leave this place and build our one kingdom a kingdom of hybrids

the hybrids start cheering a random man in the crowd says well how do we know your not going to do us the same?

everyone looks at Sean for an explanation he looks at the crowd then looks down and says because my brothers and sisters i have felt that pain i have walked down that path as a slave and i have seen that other path too the one that we are forced to keep secret the one we hide from everyone else

our families we have lied too then some end up hating us for it because we missed a funeral or they fell into debt or they missed you

now you see brothers and sisters i have not only felt that pain mentally but physically too as he lifts his shirt to show scars all over his back and body and neck

he says i remember every injury every stabbing slash explosion shot and more i feel it as i walk, speak it as i talk,i am the living embodiment of our pain and suffering

Griffin looks in disgust as he sees what the military did to his people and what they will possibly do to him he throws up on the ground next to the stage

as he hear horses coming this way he remembers why he is down here and he yells there here as Colton show up with a small army of knights he say hey this gang meeting is over Sean .M Davidson you under arrest with the criminal known as the Sakyo no heishi

Griffin dashing under the stage not trying to be seen because he has the knights crest on his shirt he'll be recognized and probably be told to attack his own people

Sean smirks says here they are our saviors our protectors let's see who they protect now Colton says you always make yourself look like the victim but you're commanding a soldier I have evidence that you're building a cult or gang to make some type of cue for the hybrids and take over Glenharnia and I won't let you

Sean says oh accusations you tried to make me look like the bad guy last time it didn't work it won't work now I'm not building a crew I'm not building no gang I'm just talking to my people

I'm being loud not ignored like we've been for the past 10,000 years or even ever since hybrids became a thing we've been shun down disrespected deemed the lower class person

so we can get slave jobs and mining jobs but none of us can own our business,own shop or buy land

do you know how hard it is to be hybrid in this world but before he can finish Colton start marching towards the stage he says okay I'm done talking and pulls out his Warhammer from his back

And slams it on the ground showing his power as Qora starts unleashing rapidly from him who sits there astonished he thinks all that power he's been keeping that away Man he can outmatch me Kaizen and Cane

I'm too weak. I can't do it.how am I supposed to defend this Kingdom and can't even stop this misunderstanding?

Who do I help? What should I do? Man I'm useless then he hears a roar like no other and then once again he hears it stop being childish boy you know what you must do now do it

Griffin sit there thinking I know what I must do and looks up Colton is gone but there's a fight going on on top of the stage get from under the stage and looks around to see that crowds of people running away and the knights trying to gather up all the hybrids attending

Sean's speech Colton is chasin the Sakyo no heishi and Sean down a alleyway completely separated from the knights and hybrids

Griffin gets up and runs after Colton he says I got to do something but I can't be seen what do I do then he looks up as he's running between the alleyway he sees the roof he pushes Qora through his feet and jumps onto the roof and follows Colton and Sean and the Sakyo no heishi

Colton is catching up Griffin says how do I distract him but Colton throws his Warhammer at Sean but the Sakyo no heishi jump in front of it making them flies into a building

Sean stopped running and turns back and says no he runs to go and pick them up and Colton says I've had enough of your little speeches you're getting on my nerves you got my general sitting here thinking that you're building a gang and that I'm just letting it happen now I have to do something about it

Sean says I knew it it's always a higher arky to these things ain't there Colton says not for you cause this is it as he holds his hand out the hammer flies back to his hand he runs and jumps up and gets ready to slam his hammer but before he can a Qora roar pushes him back into the another building leaving a imprint of his body in the wall

he slams into the ground looks up but sees nothing he looks at Sean but he's not there he gets up says what where did they go

he yells come back where are you but he's just yelling in an alley no one's there just a few blocks ahead Griffin is running with Sean's arm around his neck carrying him and the Sakyo no heishi running beside him

he says let's hurry up and get y'all somewhere safe Sean says thank you young Man are you a friend of mine Griffin says no I just saw your speech I had some questions for you but we can't do that if you're arrested

Sean says okay it looks down to sees the Knights crest on Griffin's shirt he pushes himself off of Griffin they fall from the momentum of running

athe Sakyo no heishi runs to him but while getting help Sean says I knew there was something fishy about this

so what really going on you're an assassin trying to kill me You've attempted this before it won't happen the Sakyo no heishi pulls out their military knife it stands guard

Griffin looks and says what are you talking about I'm a hybrid too I am in the military but I'm not one of them I'm not like Colton

Sean says yeah okay trying to collect info you and some type of investigation of me how can I trust you Griffin says no I just met you today I'm a junior knight I was just enlisted haven't even gone my first mission yet

I was walking down the training hall and That knight was talking about arresting you so I rush down here to try and stop it to try and warn you but I couldn't and I'm sorry but we can get you away

Sean walks and says yes we can without you Griffin says you have the right to not trust me You've been through a lot we've been through a lot That's what hybrids are here for right I wanted to talk to you because I wanted to know more about the hybrids our history maybe even your history

I want to be a better knight the one who does right but I can't do it if I don't know anything All I ask is your wisdom I promise and then I'll be gone I have to get back to training tomorrow anyway

the Sun is falling Sean looks at the Sakyo no heishi and nods his head they nod their head back

he says okay we're going to a little swamp outside the main Central part of Glenharnia it's a resting point for us I'll answer your questions there he points to the Sakyo no heishi And they start running together all three Griffin ready

to to hear the answers to his questions
