Every night that I lie in bed I think about the man I got instead.

I think about the man I wanted first and how if I would have gone through with it, would have landed me in a hearse.

I look back now and I'm full of thankfulness that I did not choose any other person but the man that I have now.

I look where my first crush is now and I bow my Head and I think my lucky stars that I didn't get involved in that.

Every night I lie in bed and visions fill my head of a timeline that could have happened. I am ever grateful for the opportunity to keep in this timeline.
