A shot that started a world war
In June 1914, Gavrilo Princip assassinated the Archduke Ferdinand in Sarajevo. The shots had repercussions beyond Sarajevo. The great European powers mobilized their huge armies for war. Once the mobilization machine started, it could not be stopped. The next 4 years resulted in a global war which cost the lives of millions soldierrs and civilians. The US/Israel attack on Iran could unintended consequences beyond the borders of Tehran. Could 2026 be our Sarajevo?
